Hello GEMS friends! How excited are you that it’s May? School gets out this month for my kids, and I’m looking forward to spending more time with all my girls before we welcome baby girl number 5. I really like this week’s Fashion Edit for girls and teens because it features super cute and trendy t-shirt dresses. I love wearing dresses- especially lately because they are extra comfortable when pregnant. T-shirt dresses are also great staples in your daughter’s of all ages wardrobe. These can be worn for many occasions and are comfortable which is a huge bonus. The accessories for these outfits will be a hit with your daughter! SCHOOL AGE
The T-shirt dress for your little ladies is a soft cotton dress available in 16 solid colors and machine washable. I’m showing an example of the lilac purple because it thought it looked so cute paired with the adorable tie dyed sneakers. But if tie dye isn’t her style, these sneakers also come in 23 colors/prints. (There’s a leopard and pink glitter pair that are both very cute!) The shoes have a rubber sole, and an invisible elastic band under the tongue & no lacing up needed. It was noted that the sizes run one size bigger than standard US sizes, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Did you see my recent Princess Two-Pack launch? Ariel had a glow-up. I chose Malibu to represent her carefree + adventurous spirit, with a brand new bracelet, named Daphne, to represent her youth and innocence. Life is the bubbles with this darling duo! On the other wrist, stack Spearmint and Hazel for a happy-go-lucky vibe to carry her through the rest of the school year and into the summer. The Mist Linen bows from Lou Lou and Company are sweet little clips that can be added to braids, ponytails, or used to sweep back her tresses and show off her beautiful face. I felt that my Bow Ring added a feminine touch that also matched the bows in her hair. If your daughter has her ears pierced, the Confetti Studs are a simple, yet surprisingly sparkly, addition to her ears. The dress I chose for your pre-teen & teenage daughters is an Amazon Essentials with lots of great reviews. It’s more lightweight and flowy than the t-shirt dress listed above. It’s 95% Rayon, 5% Elastane, features a scoop neck and is more of a flirty swing dress. It comes in 15 colors/prints and available in sizes XS to XXL. (You can get one for yourself, too!) I chose the Blue Chalcedony Genuine Crystal necklace to go with this dress. It will lay beautifully on the dress and compliment the Clarity + Cove bracelets she wears. Add Louise into the stack to bring out a deeper shade of blue and hint of gold.
Thread Wallets is one of my favorite small businesses. They recently launched a new Crossbody bag in a cute clear version. It makes the perfect companion for all of her adventures as she travels, attends concerts, or runs everyday errands. The Encircle earrings are darling round studs that come in either 10mm or 15mm sizes. My product photographer often wears her Encircle earrings and everytime I see them I fall in love with them all over again! You know what else I love? Opals. It’s like a tiny drop of rainbow you can stack easily with your other favorite rings. Just like the rainbow, Opal is believed to bring joy, peace, and hope. I like the look of the Opal ring with the Sparkle ring. Hair clips are still trending and I thought this two pack of black and white checkered claw clips would be a popular hair accessory for your teen daughter. They are sturdy and suitable for thick and thin hair. The final touch to this ensemble is a great pair of canvas hightops. They come in 15 different colors and have many great reviews. A lot of the women are really happy with the quality and price. I think they would look so cute with this dress😍

The matching women’s lounge set from Old Navy is a cozy, soft-washed wide rib-knit cotton blend, with a picot trim detail along the scoop neck, sleeveless arm openings, and size pockets. The bottoms are flowy, and have an elasticized high-rise banded waistband.
The baby set is from Amazon and available in sizes up to 24 months. It’s a cozy ribbed cotton blend with snap closure. Other features include sleeveless with ruffle detail, square neck, and darling bloomers.
I had to include the Mama and Mini matching bracelets, or you can choose to make them customized to say anything you’d like, such as your names, a mantra, or simply BFF. 😊 Stack your custom with Forest and Mod white to accent the greens and whites in the rest of the outfit. I also love that these three can be worn daily, and check all the boxes for a perfect dynamic bracelet stack. Lou Lou and Company has some of my favorite hair accessories, such as the leather snap clips, and are available in several colors and three sizes. I also included the leather bow headband on stretchy and comfortable nylon. If you have your ears pierced, add my Forever Hoops that are classy, comfortable and are simple to put in + take out. They come in 4 sizes and are made of ultra-durable gold filled or sterling silver metals.
If you decide to leave the house, slip on a pair of white sandals. Both were found on Amazon. The women’s pair have 100% suede insoles, vegan leather with soft lining and adjustable straps, and a flexible cork footbed. If white isn’t your style, then check out the 5 other colors they are available in. The baby shoes come in 21 different colors/styles. These are easy to take on and off for kids, and have an adjustable hook closure to keep them in place. OUTFIT #1: LOVELY IN LAVENDER
I imagined this dress being worn at an outdoor wedding in a garden/vineyard, or perhaps on a beach. This maxi dress is lightweight, but not sheer. The straight neckline & tie shoulder design are flattering details. Other features to note are the ruffled hem, cinched waist, A-line silhouette, and ankle length to show off a cute pair of braided heels, and GEMS Grace anklet. I’ve got mega heart eyes for these heart sunglasses. These are actually a pack of 2; one for mom, and one for mini! These are a great accessory for hanging out poolside, shopping in the city, beach visits, fashion photoshoots, or just for her dress up box. I picked some warm neutral accessories that compliment the rainbow on these printed “mama” and “mini” tops. (Which are sold separately- so remember that when adding to cart.)
