How quickly will my order ship?

All of our products are handmade and placed in the mail within 1-3 business days after placing your order. We use USPS First Class Mail. 

Do you offer rush shipping?

Due to the fact that this business is a one-woman show and all products are handmade, we cannot offer rush production or shipping at this time.

Will I be notified once my order ships?

Yes! You will receive an email with a tracking number for your package. Please allow 24 hours for your tracking number to be activated by the post office.

What if my shipping address is incorrect on my order?

Please email us within 24 hours of placing your order and we will do our best to correct the error. During high volume times such as holidays, we cannot guarantee that address changes will be made so be sure to double check all of your info before submitting your order. Orders that are sent back to us due to an invalid address will be processed as returns.

Do you ship internationally?

What materials do you use to make your jewelry?

Our jewelry is made with only the highest quality materials that have been tried, tested and approved by us. We use only gold filled and sterling silver components making your jewelry last and look beautiful for years to come. To learn more about what makes gold filled unique read below. Any other beads we use are high quality semi-precious or precious stones. They will not chip, flake or change colors.

What does gold filled mean?

Gold filled jewelry contains 100 percent more gold than is found in gold-plated jewelry. The gold is bonded with an underlying metal making it incredibly durable. Gold filled will not chip, flake or tarnish. The best part is you can look great without emptying your wallet to do so.

What happens if my jewelry breaks? Will you fix it for me?

Yes. We would be happy to fix an item if it breaks. Please send us an email (help@gemsbylaura.com) before shipping it back and we will provide you with instructions. You will be responsible for any shipping costs and a $4 re-working fee

How do I care for my GEMS jewelry?

Baby Bracelets

We recommend that you remove baby bracelets at night for child’s safety. Please watch teething babies carefully as small components can pose as a choking hazard. If bracelet is dirty see cleaning instructions below. Allowing your child to wear her bracelet in water such as the bath or pool should be done at your own risk as frequent exposure may damage the bracelet.

If your child’s bracelet seems tight please loosen to the last chain link, remove the bracelet or buy a larger size.

Women's Jewelry

To clean your jewelry use a soft cloth and water. You should be mindful that chlorine, lotions, perfumes and other products containing harsh chemicals could cause damage if they come in contact with your jewelry often.

Jewelry will last longer if stored in an airtight container such as a Ziploc bag.


Returns & Exchanges

 What is your return policy?

If you are unsatisfied with your order, you can schedule a return within 14 days of receiving your package (based on USPS timestamp date received). All items must be unworn and in their original packaging. Please ensure that your order number and a note from you is enclosed in the return package so the refund is issued to the correct customer. Once the return item(s) are received and inspected by us then we will issue a refund less shipping charges. Refunds are given using the original payment method.

Any items purchased during a sale, using a coupon code or at an in person Pop Up shop cannot be returned or exchanged. No exceptions.

International orders are FINAL SALE and are ineligible for refund.

Am I able to exchange an item instead of returning it?

We are unable to process any exchanges at this time. If you would like to exchange simply return the undesired item, as long as it is unworn and still in the original packaging, for a refund and then place a new order.

What if I receive a damaged item?

Even though we do our best to test each product before it goes out the door, mistakes can happen. We want to make it right with you so be sure to report a damaged item within 48 hours of receiving your order (based on USPS timestamp date received) by emailing us at help@gemsbylaura.com. You will either be fully refunded for your purchase or your jewelry will be fixed and returned to you at no extra charge.
